In the section Databases & Service reviews has been added an extensive review on aerospace information.
It includes the history of the American and European approach to cover aerospace information, a review and comparison of the available aerospace databases, a comparison of the coverage between the aerospace databases and the more general scientific and technological databases and finally the contribution to the aerospace databases by the European countries.

EINS has made available the Immage Training file (file241). This file is during August available to all users
free-of-charge. As of 1 September it will be charged on an hourly rate just like the INSPEC training file. All pricelists have been updated.

The use of the command language HYPERQUEST has been revised and updated. Major additions can be found in the sections 4, including the use of the Questindex, 9, the ZOOM command, 10, Additional commands, and 11, Displaying of results, including online ordering of fulltext via Autodoc, British Library and INIST.

The Thesaurus is now available, in the databases which have it available, also via the Easy Advanced Mode.

Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) are now available as a separate field
in the following databases: Psychinfo, CAB and Global Health. The DOI
will offer a direct link to the full text of e.g. journal articles via
mEDRA, a service offered by Cineca.
It is expected that in the course of
2004 more databases will become available with a separate field for the
DOI. To see an example, please use the command e(xpand) 10/doi in one of
the above mentioned databases. Most of the direct links to the full text
have a charge or require a subscription.

The FIZ-Karlsruhe AutoDoc service is now available on EINS GEM. Users can now order full-text documents from their session or order documents manually. To order documents you need to have access to EINS. More information available in the AutoDoc Order Help.

As of 1st June charges will apply for use of the I2plus service.
I2plus allows you to simultaneously perform a search query on a GEM databases and on a selected list of relevant web sources for a given domain. At present only one domain, Aerospace, is available. (continue)

According to the new DIMDI price structure, the formats B and BA are no longer available for DIMDI's databases, while remain available the title (format S) free of charge
and the full format (R or A), for which there is a charge, see pricelist.

As of January 1, 2003 the following databases will no longer be offered due to a strategic decision of DIMDI: AGRIS (file 109), ASFA (file 52), PSYNDEX-AV (file 68), PSYNDEX-TRAINING (file 69), PSYTKOM (file 71), SPOLIT (file 53).
Also ENVIROLINE (file 11) will no longer be available from the same date as the producer cancelled the contract with DIMDI.
The pricelist will be updated accordingly.
